Omnipod 5 Pods are designed for the tubeless Omnipod 5 automated insulin delivery (AID) system and are compatible with Dexcom G6 and FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus CGM sensors.

Each Omnipod 5 Pod is a compact wearable insulin delivery device that combines an insulin reservoir, soft cannula, automatic cannula insertion mechanism, insulin delivery system and power supply in one unit.

The Pod is worn directly on the body without external tubing. When Omnipod 5 is used in Automated Mode with a compatible CGM sensor, the system uses current glucose readings to automatically adjust insulin delivery every 5 minutes, helping respond to changing glucose levels throughout the day and night.
