Insulin Delivery (AID) system. This version is compatible with Dexcom G6 and Dexcom G7 CGM sensors. Each Pod is filled with compatible U-100 rapid-acting insulin and applied directly to the body. Once activated, a soft cannula is inserted automatically to provide continuous insulin delivery without tubing.

With SmartAdjust technology, Omnipod 5 uses CGM data to automatically adjust insulin delivery every 5 minutes. Based on current and predicted glucose levels, the system can increase, decrease or temporarily pause automated insulin delivery. Meal and correction boluses are delivered using a compatible Omnipod 5 control app or device.

The compact wireless design provides freedom of movement during everyday activities, exercise and sleep. The Pod can remain worn during showering or swimming within the manufacturer’s specified limits.
